Ken Block - Team Hoonigan Racing Division
Ken Block (US), founder of the Hoonigan Racing Division accelerate into the current season with SONAX. The SONAX logo will adorn, inter alia, Ken Block’s Ford Focus RS in the FIA World Rally Cross (WRX) Championship races, and many other international events. The sponsorship encompasses the entire Hoonigan Racing Division transport fleet – not only on the asphalt, but also in the snow.

SONAX and EKS motorsport in the WRX Saison
SONAX is official and exclusive EKS team supplier of car care and cleaning products, meaning the SONAX products will be put into the spotlight around all racing activities of EKS.
The racecar ‘Audi S1 EKS RX Quattro’ will be driven by the team owner himself Mattias Ekström (SWE). The two-time DTM champion is a passionated Rallycross pilot, who has won the WorldRX-Championship in 2016 already. Beside Mattias SONAX is delighted to introduce an ‘old’ friend, Andreas Bakkerud, known as Ken Block’s teammate in last year’s WorldRX season. The 26-year-old Norwegian is highly talented and is listed as one favorite for the championship this year.
Our SONAX signet will be visible on one car door per race car and on both trunk lids. Furthermore the SONAX signet is placed on all EKS truck trailers as well as both driver suits (arm) and due to product displays and trolleys highly visible at the paddock. Piotr Parys Jr. - Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and Platinum GT3 CCCE
Whether in a cart or a Porsche – Piotr Parys Jr.(PL) born in 1999 has numerous race victories and top placements under his belt. In 2014, driving the Kia Lotos he became the youngest champion in Polish racing history and in 2016, at just 17 years of age the youngest winner of the Porsche Platinum GT3 Challenge Cup, Central Europe. This Porsche brand trophy with its central European location is contested with production based vehicles with up to 460 HP. Piotr Parys Jr., whose role model is Michael Schumacher, will be stepping on the gas this season featuring the SONAX logo on his Porsche Gas.

Steve “Baggsy” Biagioni and Rick van Goethem - spectacular Drifting Shows
Serpentine and spectacular – at the latest, films such as „The Fast and the Furious“ have made drifting a worldwide renowned and beloved sport. SONAX is sponsoring two drivers from the ranks of the Monster Drifting athletes: Steve Biagioni (UK), „Baggsy“ to his fans, and Rick van Goethem (NL). Biagioni’s first career highlight was the British Drifting Champion title in the year 2009, more recently, in 2016, he was able to claim two wins in the Extreme Drifting Allstars Championship. Van Goethem is regarded as an up and coming talent and in 2016 won the Nürburgring Drift Cup. Both will be starting with SONAX branded vehicles.
Daniel Abt - FIA Formula E Championship
Daniel Abt (D) also began his career driving the cart in 2001, before he changed over to Formula sport in 2008. Since 2014 he has been driving in what was then the newly founded FIA Formula E Championship, now in its third season, the team operates nowadays under the name ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport. Jean Pierre Kraemer – the „HP Profi“
Jean Pierre Kraemer „JP“ for short, has made his name above all as one of the main characters in TV programmes, such as „The HP Profis“, „2 Profis for 4 Wheels“ or „Turbo – the Auto Magazine“. In addition, from a cooperation between JP Performance and SONAX arose the Crazy Cleaner Promotion. JP, proprieter of the Dortmund based tuning workshop regularly exchanges tips and tricks with SONAX in Neuburg for the perfect maintenance of his road rockets.

Since 2014 SONAX has additionally entered into a cooperation with the World Cup skier, Eva-Maria Brem. The likeable Austrian sportswoman is always right at the front in the women’s alpine skiing World Cup, and she presents the SONAX logo on her helmet, her race suit and in a variety of different events. Brem is four times Austrian champion and she celebrated her first World Cup victory on 29th of November 2014 in the Aspen giant slalom. In the 2015 Ski World Championship in Vail/Beaver Creek, she won the team competition gold medal. In the 2015/2016 season she fulfilled her lifetime dream and won the giant slalom overall world cup.
